Our customer expressed concerns about the performance and quality of a cable made by another manufacturer. Upon conducting a high speed eye diagram test, the results indicate subpar performance.
Choosing another module IC solution to optimize the eye-diagram performance.
Test equipment: Anritsu MP2110A, Keysight DCA-X 86100D
Our customer had previously encountered instances where the cable was ripped out of the Type-C plug’s die-cast shell and had to avoid this in the future. Our teardown analysis revealed that the structure was merely held together by glue, and the bonded area measured less than 2 mm2. Therefore, the cable has a high risk of breaking if it is forcefully inserted or removed from a socket.
Revamping the cable involved adding an OD metal bracket and booth, effectively improving the fixed strength to withstand 40N axial load for a minute, and wrenching strength from 0 to 30N in 4 directions.
Experience from the telecom industry of knowing how to prevent fiber optic damage.
Comprehensive testing equipment and testing engineers, and reverse engineering capability.
We boast a complete R&D team that handles every aspect, from module to mechanical and housing design.
